Dad,
As I sit tonight and reflect on the days when I was young, I remember the good times when you would sit on the stereo and sing to the "Oldies" on Sunday nights. I remember how you would go outside in the dark and scare me at the kitchen window when you made me do the dishes. I remember the drives when your feet would go through the floor mat. I choose to remember only the good times and the laughter. I know my humor came from you. And I have a lot of that.
You were a strong man, and strong man right up to your last breath. I'm glad I could be there to hold your hand while you took that last breath.
Until we meet in heaven, rest in peace Daddy.
Love your daughter, Carol Ann
